Most of you are probably now wondering what an Intumescent Strip is. If you've ever seen the movie Backdraft, then you know that fires make doors very dangerous to open: A) Normal doors will not stop the proliferation of smoke, and; b) If you open a "hot" door, you run the risk of a backdraft or an explosive entry of heat and flame into a room. Intumescent strips expand when exposed to heat. If a room is on fire, intumescent strips seal the door to prevent smoke heat and flames from coming in, containing the fire and allowing you to find other means of escape - making Intumescent strips a MUST for fire safety.
Most intumescent seals are made out of a sodium silicate based material these are sadly prone to degradation in damp or humid environments - like the Philippines. Raven intumescent seals are NOT made of a sodium silicate and as such remains unaffected by water. Raven seals are clean, non-toxic and have performed with outstanding durability and reliability.
Aside from a variety of intumescent fire-retardant seals - including seals for windows, stairs, and even carpets - Raven also carried seals for various weather conditions and seals to prevent the spread of cold or dust.
Raven seals are included in the products that MC Card Holders (Privilege and Professional) can get 10% discount off from between March 8 to 31, 2018. If you don’t have an MC Card, do drop by to get one today, it’s free!!!
